Israel’s envoy visits flood affected areas, hands over medicine

The ambassador of Israel to India and Sri Lanka, Daniel Carman visited Kolonnawa, which was badly affected by the recent floods and handed over a stock of medicine.

Daniel Carman handed over the?stock of medicine to the Chief Minister of the Western Province Isura Devapriya.

Southern Provincial Council member M K Kasun and his wife were today ordered to be remanded till March 13 by the Kaduwela Magistrate over an assault. The Southern Provincial Council member and his wife assaulted a private bus driver in Koswatte yesterday.
