Jungle Book’ is still earning big in India and if latest reports are anything to go by then the Neel Sethi starrer has surpassed the business of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Airlift’ and has emerged as the highest grosser of 2016, so far.
The film directed by Jon Favreau, which released on April 8 has already earned Rs 132.96 crore, states a report in the Indian Express.com.
‘The Jungle Book’ was released worldwide in English, Hindi and other languages. It collected Rs 8.02 crore on Friday, RS 8.51 crore on Saturday, Rs 10.67 crore on Sunday, Rs 5.09 crore on Monday, Rs 6.37 crore on Tuesday, Rs 5.02 crore on Wednesday and Rs 4.01 cr on Thursday. In the third week, too, the film is going strong and now is now aiming to make a business of Rs. 150 cr and more, states the report.
