Heavy rain expected in several areas tomorrow evening

Heavy rain is expected in several areas tomorrow evening, the department of meteorology said this afternoon.

The department of meteorology said that showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Uva provinces after 2.00 pm tomorrow.

It also said that showers or thundershowers are likely at few places elsewhere after 2.00 pm and a few showers may occur in the South-Western coastal areas in the morning.

The department of meteorology also said that the sun?is going to be directly over Kawtharimunai and Pachchilapalli about 12:11 noon tomorrow. (Colombo Gazette)

PHIs demand PCR testing at airport on diplomats arriving in Sri Lanka

By Indika Sri Aravinda Public Health Inspectors (PHI) are demanding PCR testing to be carried out at the airport on diplomats arriving in Sri Lanka.
