Over 380 killed as quake and tsunami hits Indonesian city

Over 380 people have been confirmed dead after a strong tsunami triggered by a magnitude 7.5 earthquake hit a coastal Indonesian city on Friday. DIG Nalaka de Silva’s voice sample recorded for testing

A voice sample was recorded from the former Terrorism Investigations Department (TDI) head, DIG Nalaka de Silva by the Government Analyst?s Department today. Court of Appeal extends stay order on case against Gota

The Court of Appeal today extended a stay order preventing the?Colombo Magistrate?s Court from hearing a case filed against former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and seven others. The case had been filed by the Bribery Commission in relation to?Avant Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd. The Court of Appeal extended the stay order on the case until December 5th.
