Police investigate clash in Kattankudy, 3 arrested

The police are investigating a clash which broke out between supporters of two political parties in which at least three people were injured. Police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that the police had received three complaints with regards to the incident. One complaint involved an attack on a shop which caused damages to the glass windows and other property. SLFP, UNP sign MOU on National Government

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the United National Party (UNP) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on working together in a National Government.
