The Committee on Parliamentary Business chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has decided to hold an Adjournment Debate in Parliament regarding the COVID-19 situation on Friday the 23rd of October. Quarantine curfew declared in parts of Colombo

A quarantine curfew has been declared in parts of Colombo with immediate effect. The curfew has been declared in the Mattakkuliya, Modara, Wellampitiya, Bloemendhal and Grandpass areas with immediate effect. A British tribunal has ruled against the ban on the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
