Yoshitha Rajapaksa remanded by Kaduwela Magistrate

RUK_1691Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has been remanded by the Kaduwela Magistrate.

Rajapaksa, former Sri Lanka cricket board secretary Nishantha Ranatunga and three others were remanded till February 11.

The owners and top management of the Carlton Sports Network (CSN) including Yoshitha Rajapaksa, Nishantha Ranatunga and Mahinda Rajapaksa’s spokesman Rohan Weliwita were arrested today by the Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) over alleged financial irregularities. sexlviv.com/en/article/order_a_prostitute_in_lviv-17.

They were later produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate. The CSN management was being investigated for financial irregularities alleged to have been committed at CSN.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, his wife and family members were present in court while a large crowd was seen outside.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa and the other accused were taken in the prison bus to the Welikada remand prison.

CSN was launched by Yoshitha Rajapaksa when Mahinda Rajapaksa was President and the network was given exclusive rights to cricket matches featuring Sri Lanka.

However when the new Government took office CSN lost those rights and was being investigated by the FCID. (Colombo Gazette)

    another Sinhala Buddhist Farce to inform the world which `should not` involve with `sovereignty` that Lanka means to clear the air but be in the cloud.

  2. FCID is attacking in all directions. They must finish the attack soon and conclude some cases this year so that they will have time for Treasury Bond Issues and connivance within Bank of Ceylon.
