Kaluwitharana nominated to ACC technical committee

Romesh KaluwitharanaSri Lanka Cricket announced it has decided to nominate Romesh Kaluwitharana to the Technical Committee of the Asia Cricket Council for the Asia Cup 2016.

The Sri Lanka Cricket board said that a man who is passionate about the game, Kaluwitharana is the former Sri Lanka A Team Head Coach.

Having played for Colts Cricket Club, Galle Cricket Club and Sebastian’s Cricket and Athletic Club, he has played 49 test matches and 189 ODIs for Sri Lanka.

Romesh played a vital role as a wicket keeper / batsman in the 1996 World Cup winning team.

Sri Lanka Cricket said that Romesh Kaluwitharana is delighted to accept this new appointment in the Technical Committee of the ACC.
