Man posing as Sri Lankan diplomat arrested in New Delhi

The Shahdara district police in New Delhi have arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly posing as a Sri Lankan diplomat and driving a car with a special number plate, The Hindu newspaper reported. The accused has been identified as Krishna Nagar resident Nitin Malhotra. Police allay fears over LTTE resurgence in North

The?Police today allayed fears of an LTTE resurgence after leaflets appeared in the North claiming to be from the LTTE. The leaflets claimed that the LTTE was still in operation and was planning to revive its operations.
