Government to snub protests and sign FTA with India

FTAThe Government says it will disregard protests and sign the proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with India.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, speaking at an event today, said that  the Government has the mandate to sign the FTA with India and also for agreements with China and the EU on the GSP plus concession. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. But you are dumping cheap tyres like the Chinese and that component preferential tariffs would be increased to Chinese standards – with or without rim.
    Lankan Troika will get rimmed.
    Euro may collapse before you think of free trade with EU.
    You need it with India to balance the $$$ once again.
