Perumal makes submissions to Constitutional reforms committee

Former North East Chief Minister Varatharaja Perumal has made submissions?before the Constitutional reforms committee at Visumpaya.

Perumal?was the first?and only Chief minister of the merged North Eastern Province?and?is the founder of the Eelam People’s Revolutionary Liberation Front (Varathar faction).

Tamil National Action Group President, former Parliamentarian A.Vinayagamoorthy and?former Western Provincial council Member Dr.N. Kumaraguruparan also made submissions, Dr. Kumaraguruparan said.

He said that the submissions were made before the Chairman of the committee Lal Wijayanayake, secretary Winston Pathirajah and other members yesterday (Thursday). (Colombo Gazette)

Sri Lanka and China have talks on the Hambantota port

The Government?and China today had talks on on developing the Hambantota port.
