Sri Lankan amnesty beneficiaries to be repatriated from Kuwait

The process to repatriate Sri Lankans who are out of status and have sought to benefit from the amnesty declared by the Kuwaiti Government, will commence tomorrow (Tuesday). Heavy rains over 100 mm expected

Heavy rains over 100 mm are expected over several areas in the country today, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said. Deputy Director of the DMC Pradeep Kodipili said showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Southern, Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces.
