Mahinda Rajapaksa says he is ready for LG election

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says he is prepared to face a Local Government (LG) election. Speaking to reporters today, Rajapaksa said that the Government is delaying the LG election as it is afraid of facing such an election. “If a Government is not afraid an election can be held at any time,” he said.
