Four killed in van, tipper truck accident

accidentFour people were killed following an accident involving a van and a tipper truck in Nelumdeniya, along the Colombo – Kandy road.

The police said that at least three others were injured in the accident.


  1. The question is not more vehicle or less roads. The issue is licence with less or no experience. I have seen drivers of tippers do not care any one in the Road. The fault is with Driving Licence issuing authority. One person must have at least done 3000 to 40000 Km to be a good driver to be in a Main Road or to drive a Heavy Vehicle. Most of the Drivers are issued Licence with 500 to 600 KM Driving.
