Nimal confirms MR will contest from Kurunegala

Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) member and former Parliament opposition leader Nimal Siripala de Silva today confirmed that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be contesting the Parliament elections from Kurunegala. Government investigates Udayanga’s email statements

The Government is investigating the email statements reportedly issued by?Sri Lanka?s former Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga. SLFP insists no rift with UPFA, will contest together

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) today insisted that there was no rift with the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) and said that they will contest the Parliament election together.
