Five killed as train crashes into car in Wadduwa

Five people were killed after a train crashed into a car in Wadduwa today. The police said that the train had crashed into the car at an unprotected railway crossing in Pothupitiya, Wadduwa. The train was travelling from Galle to Colombo when the accident took place.

Indian Navy Chief to have talks with Sri Lankan officials

Indian Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba is on a five-visit to Sri Lanka beginning from today, UNI reported.
