People celebrate 20th Int’l Clowns Convention

Clowns take a “selfie” in the 20th International Clowns Convention in Mexico City, capital of Mexico, on Oct. 21, 2015. During the convention that is being held here from Oct. 19 to 22, clowns from different countries and regions shared their experiences, made performances and took part in various contests. President inspects bomber’s house

President Maithripala Sirisena inspected the house in Kalmunai where a suicide bomber linked to the Easter Sunday attacks, had triggered a bomb killing himself and several others, including children in the house. The President also visited the Zion Church in Batticaloa which was attacked by a suicide bomber on Easter Sunday, killing several people.
