Kondaya released in Seya rape, murder case

Dunesh Priyashantha alias Kondaya was released today after being cleared in connection with the?murder of?Seya Sedawmini.

The CID informed court on October 7 that the DNA tests conducted on Kondaya had not matched the DNA of Seya Sedawmini.

Kondaya was arrested earlier after he had allegedly confessed to the killing but his brother was later arrested and he had confessed that he killed the child.
