Former LTTE cadre arrested over Vavuniya incident

A former LTTE cadre was arrested today over his involvement in an incident at a housing scheme for families of soldiers in Vavuniya. The former LTTE cadre is accused of assaulting some of the residents in the?housing scheme. He was arrested in Kilinochchi and was produced in court and remanded. (Colombo Gazette)

Human rights activist briefly detained at airport
