Modi, Sirisena discuss reconciliation process

mobi SirisenaIndian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Maithripala Sirisena in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

Modi complimented the Sri Lankan President for the two elections that were successfully conducted in Sri Lanka this year, saying that this showed the deep-rooted democratic traditions of that country.

The Indian Prime Minister’s office said that the reconciliation process and Indian investment in various projects in Sri Lanka also came up for discussion.

  1. Modi and Srisena are day dreaming.They must know without punishing the perpetrators in an international court reconciliation is impossible. Traitors like Sampanthan and Sumanthiran are not the victims of the genocide but the victims are ordinary people.

  2. I see President Maithripala Sirisena’s son on the picture. Is this good governance? He is not in the official list, why he is there? President and PM preached good governance and got votes, but doing the same as the previous government. They all have the same ideology, their faces are different, but their actions and thoughts are the same.
