President Maithripala Sirisena has invited United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) party leaders for a meeting tomorrow.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the President’s official residence tomorrow morning, National Freedom Front (NFF) leader and UPFA member Wimal Weerawansa said.
The President, as chairman of the UPFA, has called for the meeting ahead of the new Parliament meeting tomorrow.
Speaking to journalists at a media briefing, Weerawansa said that he will take part in the meeting and express his views on several issues.
Weerawansa said that he will make clear that his party will not support the National Government formed between the United National Party and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. (Colombo Gazette)
