  1. If Sirisena did not run the scare campaign with Chandrika against own party SLFP, it will be Rajapaksa swornning in today, not Ranil. Unlike with Rajapaksa, Sri Lankans cannot expect much from Sirisena who does not have leadership qualities. Therefore now people will have to wait for Ranil to continue with the development until Rajapkasa or similar one come to power.

    • That genuine friendship that Ranil shares with Mahinda is very impressive. Mahinda – Maithreepala renewal does not appear to be genuine.
As many commented, it would have been better if Ranil went it alone w/o Maithree. UNP cannot go with the SLFP for long though they have a MOU.Most of the action by Maithree since becoming the President was illegal. What can we expect from him?

  2. Lovely sir .This the is moment we were waiting for. This was over due from Mother Sri Lanka’s point of view. We needed a leader like you to create a healthy political atmosphere. Now the passage is open for you to reach the next position of presidency and rescue our nation from the grip of corruption. Go ahead don’t stop sir
