Pakistan Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka

Pakistan Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi is to visit Sri Lanka. The Government information department said that Qureshi is scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow (Sunday). Qureshi is leading a delegation from Pakistan on a two day visit. His visit comes just after President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited India and cemented ties between India and Sri Lanka.

UK police shoot attacker during London Bridge stabbing incident

British police shot a man on Friday after a stabbing in the London Bridge area in the centre of the city, a security source told Reuters. A video clip on Twitter filmed from a high vantage point showed what appeared to be three police officers backing away from a man lying on the pavement.
