Most political parties contesting the August 17 Parliamentary election will be releasing their election manifestos this week.
Former UNP Parliamentarian and Media Minister Gayantha Karunatilake said that the election manifesto of the UNP, expected to be released over the next few days, will promise employment, relief to the public and more development projects.
He further said that the masses have already decided to vote for a UNP led government to carry forward the good governance established on January 8.
Meanwhile, the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) manifesto will be made public by JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake tomorrow at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.
The United People Freedom Alliance (UPFA) has not decided on the date to make public their election manifesto. However, party sources said that it will be made public during the last week of this month.
