  1. Only 17 MPs are with Sirisena and majority (over 100 MPs) wanted Rajapaksa to join the election campaign. This is the reason Sirisena agreed to let Rajapksa to contest. So it is wrong to blame Sirisena for giving nominations as it was the party decision which Sirisena had to agree.

  2. Good riddance.

There are few more bad eggs that need to leave this camp, most importantly Rajitha, Arjuna, CBK, MDKS, Duminda Dissanaike and Hirunika. These people are a liability.

One should not trust Sirisena. He might form a govt with bankrupt UNP after the elections irrespective of Election outcome. Therefore it is important that loyalists of Mahinda get elected in large numbers to save this country from impending disaster.

    • LiLiput…..

You are from that Fantasy land called LiLiput, so I don’t. Blame you being a Liliputian to make Fairy statements.

  3. People appointed MS to be President of the country not SLFP the party that did not support him. The mistake he is doing is manage the party and not the country.

    • The decision put by President will force people to vote for UNP because the majority of people in the country had rejected MR as President. Now MS has made a betrayal decision to allow MR to contest upcoming election under his own party which is commanded by himself.

Voting for UNP will be a choice of pro-opportunity, pro-capitalism along with a mixture of populism ideologies which will lead the country’s economy to fastest growth with the competitive market system.

  4. Foul mouth or otherwise, they have felt the pulse of the people in that they demand for MR.

Joining the UNP is one thing and winning at the poll is another. Is Ranil or Sirisena going to attract votes for these cross overs???
Ranil is a NO. Not Sirisena the second time around.

People appointed Sira to be president of the Country & not the Party. Sira focuses on the party and as such UNP Government is running riot with Bond scams, FCIDs sans Sira’s knowledge or blessings.

Hope MR & RW can reach an agreement for a balance and betterment of the Country.
CBK/Mangala/Rajitha/Kiriella need to be pushed into the back burner of politics for the Country to prosper.

    • If the entire Sri Lanka voters demanding only for Mahinda, then no option man. Let people be with Mahinda who is always proved to be a real leader.

  5. THE FA CT THAT SIRISENA IS A WEAKLING AND CKIKEN BREASTED POLITICIAN ISNOW ETTER PROVED BY HIS STILL FEAR O MAHINDA. WHAT IF HE REMAINED UNCOMMITTED AND DID NOT NOMINATE MAHINDA, TH WORST LAUGHING ROUGE SRILANKA EER HAD.

  6. Those who leaving SLFP already supporting UNP and they never be SLFP, They always changed their party to them. let them to leave SLFP.

    • That’s true. People like Arjuna does not make any difference to the party. Remember when he jumped to Sarath Fonseka’s party, no impact at all caused to SLFP.

  7. We all Sri Lankans are expecting to have clean politics, but all are talking about corrupt SLFP or UNP? Why don’t we give a chance to JVP?

    • now theris no clean jvp pary pvp dependin on forgen ngo”s
realy JVPis correpted partyn and they will try to misread srilankan they dont have any sucsessfull target.
