The concerns were raised with Minister Swaminathan when he visited Valikamam north in Jaffna today.

  1. Its a shame on the minister. President’s office is only
a telephone call away from his office. Did the army tell the minister off !

  2. Quick-fix solutions such as giving land back without considering the threats to National Security is very dangerous. Tamil people are part of Sri Lanka but last 30 years they believed Prabhakaran’s religion. Why not Muslim and Sinhalese people not getting their land back from Northern areas? If Tamil people can live anywhere in Sri Lanka, it should be same for Muslims and Sinhalese too. Tamil political leaders have a responsibility to promote reconciliation by having Muslim and Sinhalese people in North.
