The attempt by former Sri Lanka cricket captain T.M Dilshan to enter Parliament failed as voters no-balled him at the 2024 Parliament Election. Three killed, several injured in Sri Lanka bus-van collision

Three people were killed and several others sustained injuries in an accident between a bus and a van in the Wilgamuwa area on Thursday. The Police said that a private passenger bus crashed into a van and toppled down a precipice.
