Kama assures action on incident

Kama Colombo has assured it will take action against any of its staff found guilty over their involvement in a brawl which took place at the club in Colombo last weekend.
Three employees including a businessman attached to the night club were arrested and remanded yesterday for allegedly assaulting a youth at the club.
“Kama Colombo?maintains the highest standards and is dedicated to customer satisfaction and safety. Any employee found guilty of wrong doing will be dealt with accordingly and we would like to wish both parties involved in the incident a speedy recovery. We remain open and fully cooperative with the ongoing investigations,” the Kama Management said in a short statement.
The case into the incident is to be taken up again for hearing on Thursday. (Colombo Gazette)

UN warns situation in Sri Lanka likely to worsen

The UN World Food Programme (WFP) has warned that the situation in Sri Lanka is likely to worsen.
