Grace period extended to renew vehicle licence

The Government has extended the grace period announced to renew vehicle revenue licenses in the Western Province. The Government Information Department said the grace period has been extended till 31 July. The grace period will be entitled for vehicle revenue licences that expire between 13 March to 31 July. The Government Information Department added that a fine will not be imposed on the vehicle revenue licences that expire during the above mentioned time period. (Colombo Gazette)

Jogging tracks open to the public

Jogging tracks have been reopened to the public for exercising from today, the Police said. Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon said the public have been requested to adhere to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, such as wearing face masks.
