BBS tell India to stay out

The Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) today handed over a petition to the Indian High Commission in Colombo urging the Indian government to keep it’s hands off Sri Lanka.
BBS General Secretary the venerble Galagodaththe Gnanasara Thero said that some 1000 monks walked towards the Indian High Commission and handed over the petition.
He said that Indian intervention in Sri Lanka is a threat to the soverignity of the country. The monk accused India of arming and funding the LTTE during the war.
He said that this led to the war dragging for 30 years and so now they are urging India to stay away from Sri Lanka’s internal affairs. (Colombo Gazette)
