Dullas Alahapperuma decides to form alliance with Sajith

Parliamentarian Dullas Alahapperuma has decided to form an alliance with Sajith Premadasa and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB). A faction of Alahapperuma’s Freedom Peoples Congress had already signed an MoU with the SJB in April to work together at the next election. Over 40 injured in Nuwara-Eliya bus accident

Over 40 people sustained injuries in Nuwara-Eliya following an accident involving a luxury bus. The bus, which was transporting a group of people who were on a trip from Nuwara-Eliya to Trincomalee, crashed following a failure of the brakes.
