Three killed, five injured following Ratnapura accident

Three people were killed and five others sustained injuries following an accident in Ratnapura. The Police said the accident involved a car and a cab. The accident took place in Batugedara in Ratnapura. (Colombo Gazette)

Stray cattle to be detained and removed from the streets

The Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development says all stray cattle will be removed from the streets of Colombo and surrounding areas. Brigadier arrested over Rathupaswala shooting granted bail

An Army?Brigadier who had given orders to open fire on a group of protesters in?Rathupaswala and another officer were granted bail by the Gampaha Chief Magistrate today.
