Rain to continue in some areas

There will be showers or thundershowers at times in the Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces over the next couple of days.
The Department of Meteorology said that heavy rain falls are also likely at some places.
It also said that there may be temporary localized fairly strong wind during showers.
The Department of Meteorology urged the general public to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning. (Colombo Gazette)

China keeps mum over Sri Lanka rejecting submarine docking
