Court orders JMO report on Duminda

The Court today ordered the CID to obtain a medical test report from the Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) on parliamentarian Duminda Silva. The Colombo Additional Magistrate issued the order after Silva failed to appear in court today on medical grounds. India summons Lankan envoy on fishermen issue

India summoned the Sri Lankan Deputy High Commissioner in New Delhi Mahishini Colonne?today to discuss the arrest of a group of Indian fishermen, Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin told the Colombo Gazette.
