Galle Face center road closed

The Galle Face center road between the Galle Face round-about and?ceramic?junction near Hilton Hotel will be closed from tomorrow till the 17th from 6am for rehearsals for the Victory Day parade.
The police said that the road will be closed daily from 6am till the?rehearsals?are over.
The police media unit said that heavy vehicles heading towards Fort will need to turn at the?Colpetty junction and travel via Salve Island.
Light vehicles will be able to travel until the Galle Face round-about and then turn down Markan Marker road.
The Victory Day?celebrations will take place at Galle Face on Saturday.

Modi assures he will “wipe the tears of Sri Lankan Tamils”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that his Government will “wipe the tears of Sri Lankan Tamils”.
