Accusations despite defeating terror

President Mahinda Rajapaksa says Sri Lanka has had to face various accusations despite defeating a terrorist organisation.
Speaking at the UPFA May Day rally in Colombo today, the President said that the working class in Sri Lanka is enjoying the benefits of freedom after the war.
“Yet we have had to face several accusations after defeating terrorism,” the President said.
The President also said that today’s UPFA May Day rally was one of the biggest he has seen during his political career.
