Two killed, 2 injured in accident

Two people were killed and another two sustained injuries following an accident in Pallama last night, the police media unit said today.
The police said that the accident took place after a tipper lorry crashed into a motorbike along the Anamaduwa, Bangadeniya road.
Four people including two children were on the motorbike at the time of the accident.
All four people were admitted to the Chilaw hospital following the accident but two of them succumbed to their injuries.
The victims were a 70 year old woman and a one year old child, the police media unit said.
A 32 year old woman and a 4 year old child are?receiving?treatment in hospital. (Colombo Gazette)

Mannar Bishop’s House closed after COVID-19 threat
