Royal College Colombo beat St. Thomas College Mount Lavinia by 7 wickets in the 134th Battle of the Blues at the SSC grounds today.
Batting first the Thomians scored just 192 runs in their first innings from 73.1 Overs.
In reply the Royalists declared their first innings on 260 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
The Thomians failed with the bat again in the second innings scoring just 132 runs in?58.5 overs.
Royal College Colombo scored?67 runs for the loss of ?3 wickets in 10.5 overs and won the match. (Colombo Gazette)

Hospital says Brazil great Pele’s cancer has advanced

Brazil great Pele’s cancer has advanced, according to the hospital where the 82-year-old is being treated. The three-time World Cup winner has been in hospital for just over three weeks.
