The Sri Lanka Cricket board is to investigate fast bowler Lasith Malinga over his conduct when he was approached by the local media at the cricket board headquarters on Sunday and yesterday.
Malinga had scolded the journalists yesterday when he was asked if he can speak a few words on the contract issue with the cricket board.
On Sunday night when he was asked if he signed the contract offered by the board he responded by saying that he had come for a party and not to sign any contract.
Malinga was recently appointed as the vice captain of the Twenty 20 national cricket team.
His attitude towards the local media drew the criticism of the media who questioned if such behavior is acceptable by a national cricketer. (Colombo Gazette) RELATED VIDEO:
