Police release sketches of suspects in journalist shoting

The police today released the sketches of two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting of The Sunday Leader journalist?Faraz Shauketaly.
In a statement released to the media this evening the police said that the sketches were drawn by an artist of the CID based on the information provided by the journalist.
The police said that anyone having any information with regards to the two suspects drawn in the sketches should contact the police on?2662323 or?2738088.
Shauketaly?was shot at by a group of unidentified men in his house at hotel road in Mount Lavinia on February 16.
Shauketaly?received bullet injuries in his neck and is still?receiving?treatment in hospital.?
Eyewitnesses said they saw three men running away from his room following the shooting incident. (Colombo Gazette)
