No arrest in journalist shooting incident

The police have not yet arrested anyone over the shooting incident involving journalist?Faraz Shauketaly,?Police spokesman SSP Priyashantha Jayakody told the Colombo Gazette today.
Unidentified gunmen shot The Sunday Leader journalist on Friday night at his Mount Lavinia house.
Shauketaly had told the police that three men had entered his room and shot him on the neck after a brief struggle.
The police Criminal Investigations Division (CID) had taken over the investigations into the attack on the instructions of?IGP N.K. Illangakoon.
The CID and the Mount Lavinia police have already recorded statements from several people over the incident.
