Chandimal new Sri Lanka Test vice captain

Dinesh Chandimal has been named the new Test and One Day Vice Captain of the national cricket team, the Sri Lanka cricket board said.
The new cricket selection panel headed by Sanath Jayasuriya appointed Anjelo Mathews as the captain and Dinesh Chandimal as the vice captain for a period effective from?February?2013 to January 2014, the cricket board said.
The new captain and vice captain were named after Mahela Jayawardena stepped down as captain following the recent tour to Australia.
Meanwhile Chandimal will captain the T20 team also during that period while Lasith Malinga is the new Vice captain for the T20 side. Anjelo Mathews captained the side in the T20 matches against Australia during the tour down under.
