Nine Sri Lankans arrested in Indonesia

Immigration officers in Indonesia today arrested nine Sri Lankans who had entered the country illegally, Indonesian media reports said.
Officers at the Medan Polonia Airport arrested the Sri Lankans as they were preparing to board a domestic flight.
The Sri Lankans could not explain where they were staying in Indonesia but one of them claimed he came from Malaysia.
Among the suspected illegal immigrants were women and a baby, Indonesian media reports further added.
One immigrant had claimed he was living in Medan for the past two days but could not give an accurate address.
