Two more arrested over Mirihana rape

Two more people have been arrested over the rape of a woman in Mirihana last week, the police media unit said today.
According to the police, the suspects arrested were from Nawinna and Nugugoda.
Two other suspects had already been arrested over the rape incident.
A 47 year old woman was gang raped in Mirihana last Wednesday while she was having a bath near a well.
Following the arrest of two suspects over the rape incident last week, the victim and the two suspects were taken to the police station to record statements.
The victim was admitted to the Kalubuwila hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
