Sri Lankan leopard in UK zoo dies three months after giving birth

A UK zoo’s “beloved” Sri Lankan leopard has died, three months after giving birth to two cubs. Sariska, who had lived at Banham Zoo in Norfolk since 2015, died on Wednesday after being unwell for several weeks, the BBC reported. A post-mortem revealed the 13-year-old had a serious heart condition which would have led to her death within weeks, the zoo said. Government undecided on LGBTQI rights

The Government says it is undecided on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning (or: queer), Intersex (LGBTQI) rights. Summons issued on captain of MT New Diamond

The Colombo Magistrate today issued summons on the Captain of the MT New Diamond oil tanker to appear before courts on 28th September. The Attorney General had yesterday instructed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to file a report in court against the captain of the ship.
