Another soldier succumbs to injuries

Another soldier has succumbed to his injuries following an accident in Kilinochchi yesterday, taking the death toll to six. Five soldiers were initially killed when a train crashed into a military truck in Kilinochchi yesterday. Two others were injured and admitted to hospital of which one of them succumbed to his injuries last night. The truck had attempted to cross the railway line when the train had crashed into it. Four convicts on death row to be executed

Four convicts on death row will be executed soon, President Maithripala Sirisena said today.
