Explosives, porn in TNA office

The Terrorist Investigations Division (TID) and the army have recovered explosives and pornographic material from the office of TNA MP S. Sridharan in Killinochchi, military spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasooriya told the Colombo Gazette.
He said that a three-wheel driver had been arrested in Gurunagar, Jaffna yesterday with low intensity explosives hidden in the vehicle.
Following investigations launched by the TID, the Killinochchi office of TNA MP S. Sridharan was raided today.
Brigadier Wanigasooriya said that the TID and army recovered 500 grams of explosives and a large quantity of pornographic material.
A man who claimed to be the Coordinating Secretary of the TNA MP was arrested at the Killinochchci office.

Colombo Stock Exchange records biggest drop

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) today recorded the biggest drop in points in a day. The CSE said the ASPI recorded 5,587.18 points falling by 462.99 points. The previous highest recorded by the CSE was 303 points on 20 March 2020. Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 Index recorded 2,288.51 at the close of market. Buddhist Sunday Schools closed until further notice
