The police have decided to ban stickers on the rear glass of passenger vehicles including buses, three-wheeler taxis and cabs.
According to the traffic police, large stickers pasted on the front of such vehicles will also be prohibited from today.
The police said that the regulation has been introduced in order to reduce the number of road accidents.
The police are of the view that a large number of road accidents occur when drivers are unable to see the rear of the vehicle or front clearly.
The traffic police will be deployed from today to remove such stickers on passenger vehicles.
