Chinese suspects to be deported

The 100 Chinese nationals arrested in Colombo on Friday over their involvement in?telephone?fraud, are to be deported. Police insist only ex rebels arrested

Some 45 ex-members of the LTTE have been arrested during search operations in Jaffna in Sri Lanka’s north, the police said today. “They were arrested as a result of operations carried out over the last month,” police spokesman and superintendent Prishantha Jayakodi said.
