Four divers missing at Mount

Four divers have been reported missing at Mount Lavinia since yesterday, the police media unit said today.
The police said that the four men from a private diving company had gone out to sea in Mount Lavinia last morning.
However after diving since for several hours, even by afternoon they had failed to return.
The private company then reported them missing. The navy has launched a search operation to locate the missing divers.
Among those missing is a French national, the police media unit said.
Meanwhile in Panadura, the police said a novice monk was reported last evening after he went for a sea bath.
The 17 year old monk had gone for a swim with 15 other monks and was dragged away by strong currents.
In Ambalangoda another man was reported missing last evening after he went for a swim in the sea.
